Visual Identity Launch for the Largest Notary Firm in the Netherlands. With the merger of Westport Notarissen and Hermans & Schuttevaer, the new notary brand Westvaer was launched in early 2024. We were asked to bring this new identity to life through a complete visual production.
Scope
We produced all visual communication for the merger: photography, portraits, video interviews and the official announcement, along with a versatile image library and short video formats for both internal and external use.

The creation of Westvaer marked the start of the largest and most versatile notary firm in the Netherlands. A merger of this scale required a visual identity that matched the firmβs reputation, craftsmanship and the values shared across both former organisations: expertise, discretion, dynamism and approachability.
Because the notarial sector operates on trust, clarity and consistency, the visual language had to reflect that same level of precision. This guided every step of our process, from pre-production planning to final delivery.

In the pre-production phase, we worked closely with Westvaerβs communication team to properly coordinate planning, styling and location choices. During the shoots, our goal was to make employees feel comfortable in front of the camera while ensuring consistency in style and appearance, so that every image can be used across different formats and applications.

- interviews with partners and employees about the merger
- video registration of the official reveal of the Westvaer brand
- atmospheric photography showing real work situations and environments

These assets allowed Westvaer to communicate the story behind the merger in a way that is both personal and substantive, positioning the brand clearly at its relaunch moment.

Beyond launch communications, the goal was also to provide Westvaer with sustainable visual assets.
The extensive image bank we created enables the brand to: communicate consistently across all channels, maintain a professional, unified presence and support recruitment, onboarding, marketing and corporate communication
With this production, we not only helped introduce a new name to the market, we assisted in the creation of the visual foundation for Westvaerβs identity in the years to come.
