Florpartners

Florpartners Theme Videos

Info

Florpartners is a consultancy firm for the horticultural sector and collaborations with strategic decision-making and implementation, with a strong focus on innovation and cooperation. For an important FVO event, Florpartners asked us to develop a video format that would clearly communicate the societal value of greenhouse horticulture in the Netherlands to a broad audience.

Scope

Together with Florpartners, we developed a video concept to introduce and explain the four central themes of the event. The goal was to translate complex horticultural topics into accessible visual stories for organisations and government institutions that are not involved in the sector on a daily basis. We created a high-quality, on-location video format supported by tailored motion branding in the visual style of FVO, connecting all videos into one coherent narrative.

Making the societal value of horticulture visible

Greenhouse horticulture plays a much larger role in Dutch society than is often visible on the surface. Beyond food production, the sector contributes to innovation, sustainability, employment and economic and power grid stability. For the FVO event organised by Florpartners, the challenge was to make this societal value tangible for an audience of organisations and public institutions.

Together with Florpartners, we developed a concept in which we followed directors of various horticultural organisations in their daily practice. By going on location and experiencing the themes first-hand, the abstract topics of the event were translated into real-world context, people and processes.

The productions were executed with a high-end dual-camera setup in a fast-paced run-and-gun environment. Time with each grower was extremely limited, and filming locations were restricted due to safety regulations within the tomato greenhouses. These conditions required precise planning, technical flexibility and strong on-set coordination.

Despite these limitations, the result is a visually rich production with a large variety of footage, carefully graded for a professional look and supported by a strong narrative structure that adds depth and clarity to each theme.

Connection through motion branding

To ensure cohesion across all videos, we developed custom motion branding in the style of FVO. These animations function as the visual glue between the different locations and stories, strengthening recognition and guiding the audience smoothly through the four themes of the event.

‍

The final video series successfully prepared the audience for the event by:

explaining complex horticultural topics in an accessible way

visualising the societal relevance of the sector

and creating engagement before the event even started

The production not only supported the content of the FVO event, but also reinforced Florpartners’ role as a strategic connector within the horticultural sector, translating insight into impact through storytelling and image.
